A Little Infinity (Mixed by Flame)

拿到TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 的第一串set，也許會有人問mix的很倉促，單首歌曲有點短，其實這個作品是我當作自己熟悉操作機器的訓練，所以每首歌短短的就讓它cue過去了，這次的曲風是偏歐美的浩室，Soulful, Funky, Deep這三種元素相互交錯而銜接，排序上的概念和先前的作品大同小異，由稍微平淡的 soulful 起頭轉折到 funky 的愉快感，接著利用 deep 轉變到比較down的soulful (For The Love of You 到 Wake Up Running 這兩首歌)，然後再把感覺帶起來到U Don't Know 這首，這邊是整條 set 的高點，最後是順順的降到結束。

Robert Miles - Thirteen (Th1rt3en)

這實在是一張讓我很驚訝的專輯，也許是我太久沒有留意Robert Miles的動向，多年之後再聽到他的新作，根本是超乎我想像的陌生。宛如製作一張電影配樂般的手法，輕柔婉約的鋪陳出一段又一段的畫面，印象中的Trance風格已完全消失，取而代之的是細膩微妙的Ambient和深沈的Downtempo，大量的原音樂器演奏伴隨著煙霧瀰漫的旋律更讓專輯出現了一些八零年代的Progressive Rock、迷幻搖滾風味，也許許多人聽見如此巨大的改變選擇掉頭離去，我卻認為應該以另一種角度去聆聽它，它在收放之間仍然存在著許多美麗的風韻！
