Serphonic - Sounds Of My Life

Music consumer and producer since 2001. He made his first experiences in producing music in 1998 when he was about 13 years old. Started with simple flashgames like Turntables and Phonatix. A little bit later he made also the first experiences in mixing with Rebirth.
For about 5 years he was one of the beatmakers and background-DJ of Los Enatschos, which is now part of Keeloo Entertainment.
His music is sample based and most influenced by all kinds of worldmusic. Its a genremix of downtempo / electro / experimental. Most of the tracks are melancholic and “smooth with a breeze of bounce”.
Now he is working the most time with Ableton Live, a few vst-instruments and a lot of samples. Some parts of his music is recorded with Guitar, others played with midi keyboards.
In September 2009 he released the third album called “Sounds of my Life“, which is available for free on Jamendo.

Royksopp - Junior

Norwegian electronic producer duo(Torbjørn Brundtland & Svein Berge). Their name Röyksopp, derived from Norwegian "røyksopp", translates into English as "puffball". This type of mushroom is notable for the misty cloud created when it releases its spores. Junior is a forthcoming album from Royksopp, set for release on March 23, 2009. The new album has been described as a mix between the styles of the two previous studio albums, Melody A.M. and The Understanding, and features Robyn, Lykke Li, Karin Dreijer Andersson and Anneli Drecker.

Tony Match - Tony Match's Lounge Sessions Vol. 1

The french percussionist and drummer Tony Match was influenced by the famous jazzmen and jazz labels. He created his own style from Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop and Jazzbreakbeats. He started his music lessons at 7 and at the age of 18 he received his College state music Diploma. Close to the Hip Hop & electronic culture, this multi-talent artist decided to dedicate his skills to the music production. Since 1998 he worked together with DJ and Producer Soul G, well known through his engagement with one of the best French Hip-Hop bands "La Rumeur". With him he released the longplayer “Pineapple Corner”, whereof they sold over 10.000 copies, and “Round Trip 2 Tokyo” on Mole Listening Pearls.

來自紐約、聞名全球的Trip-Hop Downtempo名團Wax Poetic，由前衛爵士樂手Ilhan Ersahin於1998年所成立，Wax Poetic的樂風將電子音樂元素運用在爵士與世界音樂上，加入電音的緩拍節奏與環繞效果，成功的創造出不同跨界領域的電子融合音樂。

出生於瑞典、在土耳其成長，Ilhan Ersahin是位道地的土耳其人，深受中東文化的影響充分表現在他的音樂之中，因為熱愛爵士音樂，Ilhan Ersahin搬至美國、並在Berklee音樂學院研讀學習薩克斯風，之後就定居在美國紐約發展他的音樂事業；1999年Ilhan Ersahin邀請當時還是學生的諾拉‧瓊斯(Norah Jone)為他的Wax Poetic擔任主唱工作，兩人並共同創作了「Thinking About You」這首膾炙人口的好歌！

如果你覺得Portishead的Trip Hop過於沈重、Bjork的另類電音過於刁蠻，那麼你應該聽聽看來自加拿大的Trip Hop雙人電音組合-Elsiane，他們的創作集合了上述兩個在樂壇中算是指標性藝人的特色及優點，再加入主唱兼主創作人-Elsieanne Caplette深厚的古典音樂基礎，使得他們的音樂在神祕、飄逸的緩拍慢慢前行之時，仍可在背景中聽到層層堆疊的管弦樂，充滿靈氣的Vocal亦讓歌曲散發出更強烈的Elsiane風格。另外，在專輯中我至少聽到了有兩首歌出現了東方的音樂元素，甚至連舞龍舞獅的敲鑼打鼓聲也被他們取樣運用了，不知道其背後隱藏的意義為何呢？

在歸類時真的很不願意將它放入Hip Hop裡面，因為實在是包含了太多元素，在節拍的配置上也不如Hip Hop般規律，倒是比較類似隱晦的Trip Hop，如果要說它真有那麼一點淵源，就是穿插在其中的一些刮盤技巧。就如同Blockhead(Tony Simon)為這張唱片所下的註解 - Uncle Tony's Coloring Book！天馬行空的拼貼方式將專輯妝點得多采多姿，這些以爵士為基調的美妙旋律，在Blockhead的加味調製下，不時洋溢出其獨特的韻味，這種解構再組合的超凡能力總是能為我們帶來許多繽紛的想像空間。

Flunk - Personal Stereo

北歐的藝人或音樂總是帶著一些靈氣，從Bjork, Cardigans, Sigur Ros...等人的音樂中都可以聽到他們非常不凡的氣質，Flunk - 這個來自挪威的團體所創作出來的音樂同樣也散發出獨特而富靈氣的聽覺感受。深沈的Trip Hop節奏讓專輯呈現出和緩的進行步調，Vocal則以慵懶、獨白式的唱腔表現，空心吉他和曼妙電音和諧並行於其中，Sit Down這首歌突然出現的男聲帶來了一個小高潮，特殊的嗓音讓我聯想到以鼻音出名的民謠詩人Bob Dylan，全曲簡單、清爽卻情感豐富，是我很喜歡的一首歌。

這個來自浪漫法國的電子音樂團體-「麻煩製造機」。西元1998年，三個電子音樂家在馬賽著名的「五月花藝文特區」〈La Friche Belle de Mai〉註相遇，彼此氣味相投，進而組團玩音樂。三位音樂家分別為Lionel Corsini〈A.K.A. DJ Oil〉，一個馬賽在地知名DJ，擅長將六、七零年代靈魂放克音樂取樣重組；Fred Berthet，來自巴黎的知名DJ，九零年代曾出版幾張個人混音作品輯，擅長在世界音樂的節奏森林裡取樣；Arnaud Taillefer，主要的工作是攝影與圖形設計，但在電影配樂的領域裡亦學有專精。三人組成了「麻煩製造機」〈Troublemakers〉，並於西元2001年發表了第一張專輯《Doubts & Convictions》。不過，如今Berthet因音樂理念之故已離團單飛，現在的「麻煩製造機」跳的是雙人舞。(books.com)

在美東華盛頓特區開有Lounge Bar，並擁有自己的音樂廠牌ESL (Eighteenth Street Lounge 的縮寫) 的竊盜集團(Thievery Corporation)二人組，最擅長的是廣泛擷取各地及各種不同的音樂元素，以不同的異國風情旋律， 配上真音樂器的演奏與人聲演唱，再加以飄幻的dub音場與緩拍的電子節奏，積極營造優雅舒適的沙發情境，解放人們深鎖緊繃的心理情緒，是除了cafe del mar 之外的另一Lounge音樂山頭。

人稱「King Of Chill-Out」的Groove Armada，其威名遠播，早已不需贅言。98年的首張專輯《Northern Star》便被舞國指標月刊Muzik封為最佳新進藝人專輯、憑著了得的第二張專輯《Vertigo》，又是入圍全英音樂獎最佳新進藝人、又是拿了舞國雜誌Ministry頒發的最佳Chill-Out專輯，同時深得前輩Elton John的歡心，為大老所主持的名流派對坐鎮；於是Madonna也找上門來提出邀約為"Music"作單曲混音。而錦上添花的事永遠不嫌多，連HBO當紅影集[Sex & The City]都來湊個熱鬧，請他們為原聲帶特製一首主題曲混音。至於那已成經典的代表作"At The River"則被收進無以計數(初估是19次)—以Ibiza沙灘、美、咖啡館或Lounge Bar為封面—的合輯，讓他們紅翻英美。提到Groove Armada，幕後其實是Tom Findlay 與Andy Cato這兩位英倫青年，後者出身管樂手，曾獲年度青年爵士音樂家大獎，由此便不難推想《Vertigo》中總是洋溢著大量銅管樂的出處。他與曾任Nike公關人員的前者於倫敦相識後，以70年代的Disco派對之夜Groove Armada為名，辦了自己的派對並展開他們的創作生涯。

Groove Armada曾公開表示：我們是英國樂團，就是要呈現出大不列顛的英式活力與文化融合！而《Vertigo》正是這些年既騷靈且深遂、最叫人聽而忘憂的傑作之一！但並非人人在這權力慾薰心的世界都急著想稱王，Groove Armada就是例外；或者應該這麼說：起碼他們不想當什麼「King Of Chill-Out」，第三張專輯《Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub)》便是他們離開既有的成功軌跡，另起風格闖天下的起點，比方輯中那首震翻舞國的雷鬼碎拍饒舌大融合金曲〈Superstyling〉，簡直是Groove Armada新形象的指標。然而另一曲請出民謠老將Richie Havens獻唱、充滿靈性回歸的抒情精品"Little By Little"，卻又是溫暖入心的情感流露。近期的新作《Lovebox》的名稱來自他們新的夜店派對，再度貢獻出滿溢放克搖滾精神、但跟吉米漢垂克斯完全沒關係的"Purple Haze"及洋溢Ska風情的"But I Feel Good"的單曲。如今這些經典代表作全數收錄在這張《The Best Of》，並追加一曲Fatboy Slim用其標準熱鬧Funk-Soul Brothers風格改造的"I See You Baby"，與全球樂迷齊心見證Groove Armada的輝煌年代！(SONYBMG)
